| TOE believes in philanthropy. Much
of our efforts in this area involve supporting
the hard work of individuals in the local community.
We are a member of the Virginia Regional Minority
Development Council, Life Members of the Armed
Forces Electronics and Communications Association
(AFCEA) and are actively involved with the George
Mason University Diversity Awareness Board.
As a corporate member of that Board, TOE has
pledged annual scholarship money to George Mason
University’s schools of business and nursing
and contributes to the university’s minority
scholarship fund.
TOE’s Corporate Operations Officer, Carolyn
Taylor, was awarded the Alumni Service Award
by the George Mason University Alumni Association
for her outstanding support of the College of
Nursing and Health Science. As a three-time
graduate of the university, she was recognized
her active involvement with the University.
She is a member of the Alumni Campaign Steering
Committee, the College of Nursing and Health
Science advisory Board and Vice President for
membership of the CNHS Alumni Chapter. Most
recently, she was elected Treasurer of the Diversity
Advisory Executive Board.
